Mar. 4th, 2006 @ 01:19 pm To: S. Summers - re: The Documentary
Hey Mr. Summers,

You said to talk to you before you left this morning, but once I finished my chores you were gone. Jean and I talked a little, but I'm not sure I can totally not be in the documentary--like in group shots and stuff.

I'd really like to be in it, but I'm afraid of what my parents will do if they find out.

Leading the team to the sewer, he lifted the cover off, then looked quizzically at Warren and Hank.

"It's about a fifteen foot drop- the ladder looks...questionable." He reported, still wondering if either of them could fit through the small hole.

Warren stepped forwards, and looked down.Collapse )

Feb. 21st, 2006 @ 12:03 am Mission File: #53-01
Scott was conversing quietly with Jean, who had accompanied him to the sub-basement meeting room early as usual. Hank, Ororo, Warren, Logan and the Professor showed up with surprisingly exact timing as Scott glanced at his watch. He stood, he and Jean already in their suits, and looked at the group from behind his visor.

"I've been looking for places to park," Scott gestured to the table in front of him, and a map of downtown New York sprang up. "And the Blackbird's out of the question. Too populated, and however much faster it would be, the only place to park would be on a roof, and that limits our accessibility." He gestured to the topographic skyscrapers protruding from the table, waving his hand over the holograph. "Vans our are best bet, approaching from here-" he ran his fingers through the map to gesture to the streets. "And here. We'll drop there, go for the sewers, and hopefully be able to re-surface in the same area."

"If we can't?" Warren asked. Scott seemed to have already considered the option as he answered.

"We'll be counting on you and Storm to get Leech out of there. Jean and I will find a back passage if needs be. As soon as either of you can get him out, get him back to the Mansion. It's our first priority. If we get split up, the rest of us will meet here-" He pointed to a dark alleyway. "There's a fire escape leading to the roof of the building, and Logan will come pick us up." Scott's jaw clenched in disgust at the thought of Logan driving his jet, but he ignored it.

"This is a rescue mission above all else- try and avoid confrontation. Do what you have to in order to keep Leech safe- Doubtless we'll be faced with more than a few Morlocks. In and out as fast as we can- got it?" There were scattered nods, and Scott gave his own curt nod in finality.

"Good. Meet in the garage in half an hour."

Feb. 20th, 2006 @ 02:41 pm Attn: Students - Reactions for Homework!

Please post your reactions/thoughts on
a) The strageties and performances of today's game (be respectful).
b) The new documentary taking place at our school.

Mechanics: This will be considered instead of the homework quiz that was planned. Consider it a really early Christmas present. Or a really late one. Merry Christmas!

Teacher reactions are welcome too- I'll start us off.

a) Excellent use of offensive and defensive strategy, and co-operation. In fact, I'm incredibly impressed. Aside from a few small rule breaches, everyone was using their powers to the best of their ability and appropriately. Maybe we can ease up on training over the next week, if the same dedication is showed next time. (Wow, I'm in a good mood! Let's see how far it goes).
b) Mark seems like a very interested, passionate and friendly guy, and I'm glad to have him.

Tonight you will retrieve Artie's Friend Leech.

I've been in contact with our affiliate in the Morlochs and they suggested tonight was the best course of action.

Scott, Ororo, Hank and Warren (I hope you don't mind) I've tagged you all to be the main team. Jean and myself will stay behind and if necessary follow in an emergency.

Logan, I hope you don't mind, but I've left you in charge once more. Try not to get infiltrated this time.

-Professor Xavier
